1Bust

Stand naturally. Measure under your arms, around the widest part of your back and around the fullest part of your bust.

2Waist

Bend to one side to find the natural crease of your waist. Measure across at this point.

3Hips

Standing with feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and rear.

How do I measure myself?

We Suggest using the following:

What if I am in between sizes?

We suggest you size up.

How do I measure inseam and front rise?

Using a pair of pants that fit you well (of a similar material to those you are buying), measure along the inside of the pant leg from the crotch to the bottom opening. The number of inches is the inseam length, rounded to the nearest ½”. For the front rise, take those same pair of pants & measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the crotch.

Loved the warm yet lightweight fabric. Liked the color & fit. Bought as gift for daughter.

Beautiful coat/ fantastic price

Pros: Fabulous material- no synthetics.
Price- amazing value. Max Mara has a similar one (it is lined) for $1500.
Fit- lovely drape (even petite) I'm 5'2" and this coat doesn't swallow me up like some wrap coats I've tried on.

Cons: Warmth- subjective, but not very warm. Is a great fall/transition coat. Size- my measurements are right at large, but L isn't very generous in size, so don't size down if in between. At a large it fits me like it fits the model- with the bottom not making a full wrap when tied. Pocket location- they don't fall naturally where you'd put your hands. They are a bit far back on the coat.

Still 5 stars because overall the "cons" are so minor compared to paying under $400 for a wool/silk/cashmere blend coat (with 15% new customer discount). I'd buy this coat in multiple colors if available.

The product was not delivered, but shows as “delivered.” I have emailed Elie Tahari customer service 4 times and called their customer service line ( as well as left a telephone message during business hours.) I have not received any type of response. This was an expensive coat intended as a gift for my daughter. Very disappointed.
